Another bug is not clearing the "new" flag after a thread has been read until the page is reloaded.

I’m using my phone for the first time in a long time to access the forum. (New phone) I’ve noticed a few things I’d like to ask but seems like there was a thread that had some discussion and info on different ways of navigating this forum On different devices. Anybody remember what that thread was called?

Remember when software used to be beta tested and debugged before release?

I looked in my 103 bookmarks and didn't find anything helpful.

    Maybe start a new thread?

It may have been tucked in a thread where Marty was asking about issues he was having with his phone. AFAIK, that's the only way he accesses the forum.

Good point, Peter. There are several good candidates in threads that Marty has started: https://forum.cigar.com/profile/discussions/jlmarta

Fingers crossed, the multiple post issue in PM, and the dreaded auto save in the forum posts seems to be resolved. Cautiously optimistic this is behind us, thanks @TheCigarChick.

Oh, the persistent until reload "new" flag is back. Looks like the overzealous draft saved notice is gone though. Grateful for that.

It went away, then returned, and now has gone away again. Que sera, sera.

Not for me. Looks like my browser will reload a page if I hit the back button after a certain amount of time has elapsed, but otherwise the new markers are staying. At least for me.

Happens to me on my computer once in a while. Mostly refreshes and is fine.

Bob, now that the site is working well were you able to find a helpful thread from the link I posted to Edward's posts? Several looked like they might be related. I hope you've resolved your phone issues.
