Saw the chiropractor yesterday and started working on it. Not feeling much better today. Sleeping is an adventure. Every so often the muscle spasms hit like a cattle prod to the kidneys. Tends to wake a fella the eff up. @Sketch6995, where can I get some of those moldy walnuts? ;)

I don't know why I didn't remember this earlier, probably because my back's hurting today it reminded me, Magnesium Oxide, readily available at any drug store, and many grocery stores, is a mild muscle relaxer.  I use it frequently when I'm not so bad as to need the big guns.  It temporarily bumps the calcium out of place, allowing the muscle to in-spasm.  Safe, cheap, and usually effective.  Think about it.

I bought 2 things that really alleviated 90% of my back pain.   Sports Authority was having a going out of business sale so I got one of these.....that's an inversion table.

Then  I had a brain tumor for breakfast one morning and bought 1 of these.....

Now that ^^^ is one of the models with double pumps, it's like Mr. T pounding on your back, but man it sure feels amazing.

Made me feel brand new again.

Much safer than narcotics, and a better decision.  That crap is deadly.

How would that be different than smoking it?  And what about the reports of those devices being dangerous?

Only the THC, actives are vaporized, sopost to be healthier, good question for Sketch he’d know for sure the specifics, It’s just better from experience and what I’ve read. I don’t think it would be dangerous at all.

Marty is confusing vape pens that explode with a vaporizer.
Vaporizers are expensive and I dont think worth the hassle, but you guys are right, only the THC delta 9 are inhaled....

Google a volcano vaporizer.  That's probably the best selling one, but it's very expensive.

Like, WOW!!  That’s an impressive unit. If our current lifestyle would allow it, the price is a bit high but could be worth it. Unfortunately, lifestyle prevents it.

But check your email, my friend. And thanks.....

It occurred to me one day a few years ago that if you have to pee in a cup to keep your job, you're not an employee.  You're a slave.  Employees are valued and evaluated based on their job performance.  Slaves belong to a master 24/7/365.  There's a difference.

I don't object to pre-employment tests, that's just seeing if you have self discipline.  I don't object to test for cause, as long as it's really cause, not just that you slipped on a freshly mopped floor, that could happen to anyone.  And, I've told people that worked for me that while I don't care, at all, what they do at home, if I catch them doing it at or before work I guarantee that I'll test & fire them myself.

But what you did at your house last Friday night?  Absolutely no one's business but yours.

Just my opinion.  Not blaming anyone for their situation.

Made the mistake of going somewhere yesterday where I had to walk about a quarter of a mile. Think I set back my recovery by about a week. This pain sucks.

@Puff_Dougie Man you really did a doozy on it! You get a back support brace yet? Help with healing a ton. Hammer the protein and BCAA’s (branch chain amino acids) that will help tremendously with recovery! The last time I had similar symptoms I actually had micro tears in muscles that help support the back. Doesn’t help either my core abdominal muscles are weak, that mainly support are backs.

Your clearly very injured IMO, ibuprofen, muscle relaxers are a good idea just stay off the muscle relaxers the day of seeing a chiropractor. You will hurt more after an adjustment especially if injured from my personal experience. Coreproducts.com buy one or two

    White is a 7000-5, XL
    Black is a 7500-5, XL
I’m 34-36” waist if you are get the XL the large will be to small more than likely. Their chart on website is wrong get the next size up.

Been wearing this one for a few days off and on...

My chiropractor recommended not wearing it too much, though, because there are studies that show it can cause the injured muscles to be more prone to re-injury when you take it off. It does feel better with the support though.
