I wonder how many years it will take me to stop feeling guilt or shame when I buy the ground beef with the fat percentage that I want, even though one with a different fat percentage is on sale and significantly cheaper. Habits are hard to break.
Nobody here is going to fat shame you for buying 50% fat ground beef Calvin, I know it can be difficult to find but you shouldn't feel guilty

Yeah thinking back on it, I should have just driven to @Patrickbrick 's house and had him grind up some 50% beef 50% bacon for me.
I made a decision in high school and decided that I preferred pretty women to tasty food, lost 100 pounds, and haven't looked back since... Aside from looking back almost every single meal.

Until you get married and the stress put on you by that pretty woman causes you to gorge yourself on fatty foods and you find yourself 200lbs heavier within a decade.

If I'd lost a hundred pounds in high school, I'd have been a 35 lb senior.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
If that's the problem, Peter, you could take the drained grease, cool it quickly in the freezer and then spread it on the burger to retain the price/lb. investment.
I save the fat from my brisket trimmings, then buy chuck when it’s on sale and grind my own. I trim all the fat from the chuck and do about 15% brisket fat. Way less than buying ground beef plus it’s way better.

I have the opposite problem, when I get stressed I don’t get hungry and forget to eat.

A year into my first marriage I had gained 40 lbs. At my worst in that relationship I had gained about 75 lbs. Within months of leaving her I dropped 60 lbs.

First off…I am ok.
I was robbed at the Chevron in Milwaukee .... After my hands stopped trembling I managed to call the Police. They took a while to respond while I waited but when arrived they were able to calm me down. My money is gone… the police asked me if I knew who did it. I said yes.. it was pump number 3.
It is the stock market, the value of the company, you have to look at the price/earnings ratio and predict the worthwhile chance that the company will do wellm-- all the non-productive wealth piling in with the expectation that the price of oil will translate to profits.
Emptied my Stinky ashtray. Because I pack down the ashes in an effort to economize effort and save energy for other vital activities it took 2 months, 1 week, and 3 days to fill it up. The flowers along my house will appreciate it.

Who doesn't love bacon? Edward?
I bought 93/7 at $4.99 per pound, 80/20 was on sale at $2.99 per pound.
If I'm doing something on the grill I prefer leaner, but Donna, that chubby chick I run with loves the fat
Fat is flavor, all I'm saying.

Take those skills @Stubble taught ya, knock down a couple of those cornfed Iowa whitetail & grind your own mix. It’s better for ya anyway.
When you fry up the 80/20 and drain off the grease you're throwing money down the drain so the difference isn't really $2/lb.

Stock prices I think. I honestly thought they would have jumped up more than that.
