His is much better, because it's the ENTIRE cigar. As a side note, I now know exactly how far down to smoke a cigar before it starts to taste like bowl resin, which I never knew a cigar could taste like.
Try purging your cigar by occasionally blowing out to prevent tar build-up.
It didn't taste funny until after I was burning myself, so I think I'll just not do that anymore instead lol. I've had the tar thing happen before and I just cut the cigar again usually.
Was able to get this close...but don't think it is good enough...I frequently smoke them down this far but this one hung onto the ash which made it photo-worthy...
I bet you could smoke it even further down if you punched the cigar instead of using a v-cut. May not taste as good, though, as it may tend to tar up when you smoke 110% of your cigar, Frank.
