    Guns have always been readily available in this country. The hardest part was getting to someone who had them for sale. Still the same. We just have a criminal element that knows there's no real punishment anymore. When was the last time somebody got 25 years in prison for armed robbery? They dont sentence in years anymore, they sentence in months, as if it's some kind of deterrent. And when they do go to jail, they get to watch TV, read books and lift weights. What happened to chain gangs? Big rocks into little rocks, etc? Prison has to suck so they never want to go back.

    Why would the Pope be tough on crime ? Why is the Pope mentioned so much ? Oh well, like the expression says "No such thing as bad news", but that's another circus.
