You are more correct than I want to admit. Rwanda may have been a good example of this. Yet many things are so connected that we do not want to look at as far as jobs, economy, and life as we know it. If oil was cut off this country would want it's leader hanged, dem or rep.. We truly are not willing to sacrifice. NIMBY effect... not in my back yard

I think the reason there was minimal push-back here from the socially liberal sector was the slaughter of demonstrators in Iran.

No, I'm not too big on the idea of being the world's policeman. I didn't like it when GHW Bush seemed to want that either.

I also don't like that our actions are diametrically opposed to a large number of international agreements that we've made in the past.

Here's the thing, those agreements were made in good faith, with the assumption that everyone else was also negotiating in good faith. What so many people seem to miss is the fact that there is no good faith negotiating with people whose national theme is "Death to America". They teach it to their children, they shout it and dance in the streets during elections cycles, it's like their national anthem.

And, left wing lunatics pay attention now, they really mean it. They really really mean it. They're not just joking around.

What are they willing to do to accomplish this goal? Anything. Lie, cheat, steal, assassinate, destroy, deploy, incinerate, detonate, more lying, starve their own, kill their own, kill you and your own, turn this ball of mud we ride on into molten glass and ash heaps, the list goes on.

Who is helping them to accomplish these goals?

They must worship Trump like a Demi-god or something. If we take action someplace, you assume we must take action on every little thing in the whole world.

So, then, by your logic, since you agree with the left on nearly everything, should we assume that you have wet dreams about a threesome with Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris?

Mass killing of civilians inevitably leads to bloodlust and revenge. It is never over. It is badly managed by the powerful victors. Do the Netanuites really think the Arab neighbors are going to sit at the feet of Israel and offer it garlands and gratitude for killing their spouses and children? Stupid humans.

Crazy how you would believe that. Also funny that historically I voted Republican. I didn’t vote in the last election, and I even voted for the Orange in his first term because I truly thought he was better than Hillary. I think some people have an inability to say “I was wrong“ or maybe that wasn’t the best decision… I guess my opinions can change.
