God I love the idiotic argument that illegal immigrants pay taxes. 2 items: in 2022 it’s estimated all in that they paid $100 b in various taxes yet cost taxpayers $150b. Doesn’t seem like a good thing. 2. Who cares they should not be here!!

I posted an actual link from a government source showing how much they’ve paid and the fact they cannot use the services they pay towards… You posted vitriol.

Nice, job.. Also nice job quoting a study that itself says the number fluctuates between 10’s of billions and a 150 billion based on how you do the math. In other words inflating the actual number to offset the facts because some people can’t get enough of patting themselves on the back based in where they were born because highlight of their actual accomplishments “I was born here”

Even though the study you tried to quote literally includes the children also born here. AKA same accomplishment as you.

    :golf clap:

That kind of math is what I am accused of using by my wife when I am buying cigars. Not that larger but it will be ten dollar or 150.

lol you are a little touched aren’t you. You say I didn’t put a source yet you say my source was bad. If you actually believe ILLEGAL immigration is a net positive come down to AZ and will sell ya some oceanfront property. If not you can look at many studies that show they are a drain not a benefit, although you will probably dismiss them since they don’t fit in your echo chamber. This doesn’t even go into the criminal aspects. Will finish with They are illegal and shouldn’t be here!!

Please, no one is trying take your participation trophy from you, I am sure your swim upstream to fertilize that egg was long and arduous (probably longer for you and yours than most) and has absolutely earned you the right to judge, and label people you've never met.

All of your problems are absolutely someone else's fault and chief amount them would be people fleeing unimaginable hardships of extreme poverty and completely dysfunctional government leadership for a better life..

I hope your long and obviously painful hardships that these terrible people have inflicted on you by merely existing finds the resolution you seek.

Remember it's not you but someone else who is to blame for whatever hate you need to feed on.

I am sure your next visit to church will confirm this...

Good Luck, with all of the above..

Less we forget that no matter our ethnicity, our ancestors were "the invading hordes" at one point. English, Irish, Italians, Asians.... unless @Deadstroke174 is indigenous.... 😳🫣

Yep I was right you are touched, I haven’t seen someone grasping at straws like that is awhile lol

Please, no one is trying take your participation trophy from you, I am sure your swim upstream to fertilize that egg was long and arduous (probably longer for you and yours than most) and has absolutely earned you the right to judge, and label people you've never met.

So it is ok to break into another country? You are probably one of those people who thinks there shouldn’t be any borders

All of your problems are absolutely someone else's fault and chief amount them would be people fleeing unimaginable hardships of extreme poverty and completely dysfunctional government leadership for a better life..

I have a great life but im not blind either and actually have common sense. So we should just let in people from 70% of the world because they have a bad life? Cry me a freaking river with that bs.

I hope your long and obviously painful hardships that these terrible people have inflicted on you by merely existing finds the resolution you seek.

Remember it's not you but someone else who is to blame for whatever hate you need to feed on.

So believing in the rule of law and a country’s borders equals hate. Wow I feel sorry for you.

I am sure your next visit to church will confirm this...

Good Luck, with all of the above..

Well wasted enough time on your dumba$$, hope ya have a great evening and a great life.

The world has been shaped by using you words “the invading hordes” going back thousands of years. Even those indigenous were conquered by other tribes. Not saying it’s right or wrong just a fact. For the record I’m a mutt which does include minority and indigenous blood but roughly 60% from Western Europe. I was a History major and really dug into my family history.

Some think they came here from other places when many places were still ice, before green cards of course. Then again mores and laws both have a way of changing.

Cigars are great and think I’ll have a good one this evening while enjoying some football. If you disagree with me that’s fine and the world would suck if everyone agreed all the time but don’t have the patience for people living in an echo chamber. Notice I rarely post anything in this thread but do read it, sometimes though you have to speak up. For the record I call it like I see it both in the real world and online. I used the term duma$$ and stand by it but don’t for a minute think his responses and posts weren’t ripe with concealed insults

You can't fault the individual for wanting a better life for their families. You can fault the previous administration for throwing the welcome mat out and inviting anybody to walk thru that door. All these people need healthcare, schools for their children, basic needs met? Obviously Trump's wealthy friends arent paying for that...where are the Democratic donors, nope not them either, thought they invited them in...I guess it's up to those that pay taxes.

Far from being the first time in history where most folks blame or credit the govt, but very little individual action is taken

Very funny situation here in Massachusetts not long ago. A bunch of the criminal aliens (alians?) Were brought to Martha's vineyard. Can you guess how many of those rich, white democrats welcomed them into their community, let alone their own homes? Zero! Those illegals were rounded up and put on a boat to the mainland faster than a politician can steal and spend money.

President Donald Trump teased a dangerous escalation on Monday afternoon, threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act to send military forces to U.S. cities, should pesky judges and state leaders continue to thwart his ambitions to assault and occupy blue states.

“We have an Insurrection Act for a reason,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “If I had to enact it, I’d do it, if people were being killed and courts were holding us up, or governors or mayors were holding us up.”

Are you advocating we start dealing with illegals on a personal and individual level? Is it appropriate to use firearms, are should we stick with lynching?

    Civil war

Edit; always thought the idea was absurd but when a city tells their police force to stand down when federal agents are under attack I see no other solution

    You guys are funny man.

I find it ironic that the echo chamber accuses people of participating in an echo chamber hahaha hahaha.

I also find it ironic that those who suffer from the fictitious condition known as TDS in one certain way accuse people of suffering of the fictitious condition of TDS in the other direction. Haha haha haha.

I have to agree here. TDS takes on different forms. Some, at one end, can't stand anything Trump does, just because he's Trump. Others, at the other end, think everything the man does is great, even when it sucks for everyone.

It's derangement in either direction. Why? Because either one allows one to feel superior to someone else.

Rarely, someone on either side of this decibel fest suddenly finds themself screaming what his side told him to think, and suddenly realizes "Hey! I don't believe that!". I think we all need more of those moments.

    That is all, carry on.

It would be nice to leave Trumps name out, good or bad and be able to read what folks are thinking about the discussion, immigration for example

it would, indeed, be nice to leave Trump out of it but then he says things like this:
Trump calls for jailing Democratic leaders as troops prepare for Chicago deployment
U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for jailing Chicago's mayor and the governor of Illinois, both Democrats, as his administration prepared to deploy military troops to the streets of the third-largest U.S. city.
    --Reuters

I think he is doing everything he can to piss off blue states in order to justify invoking the insurrection act and extend his power beyond the reach of the Constitution, the Judiciary, and the House and Senate.

We can ask them politely to leave, but without government assistance I don't see a lot of individual action that can be taken...
