I'll join less when I get back, wouldn't want to interrupt the silence. I try to go to social events to be alone anyhow.

    Hint: Boxing

I hope all of their opponents walk off.

The story said the boxer who was knocked down had been encouraged to decline the fight. I'm guessing she went through with it to make a louder statement. Good for her if that was the case.

Call me old fashioned and out of touch, but didn’t the XY chromosome mean something once upon a time?

    The obstacle is the way.

I'm still confused, but think I may need to rethink/retract my above post. I'm finding info that this may not have been a transgender athlete. She had been disqualified in previous competitions for supposedly having XY chromosomes, but the Olympics doesn't care or doesn't test for that. I'm not sure what to make of all this, but I think my above meme-thing was inaccurate.

That’s admirable you fact checking yourself.

One of my employees is interested. It is not an easy journey.
Edit: auto correct strikes again. I typed "inter-sexed".

    Was there more than one?

We are over the tipping point on this issue. The woman who got clobbered into submission by the man is apologizing to the man, and is sorry for disrespecting him.

Oh you know, men who love guns and shooting only want to kill things. That duality. ;)

    I was curious about that.
I don't even know what it means.
I presumed the gist of the meme was that this guy would become Liam Neeson from the movie franchise Taken if anybody took his cat.
That line about the duality of man?
My guess is it doesn't matter.
Kinda like the "well-regulated militia" part of the 2nd amendment.
    It's not that important.
