When we think of great songs...we always forget one or two. I just remembered one today I always forget, and it may actually be my all time favorite-----Carry On My Wayward Son, by Kanas. Give it a listen today, good ass times.

When I think of that song, I remember back to 1978 I believe it was and I was whatching Kansas live at Canada Jam. Almost 250,000 people to whatch 10 groups. Good weekend... what I remember of it anyway. I was still up and good to go for Kansas. At the time one of my favorite songs was Dust in the Wind, and at the concert they just nailed it.
Listened to Supertramp " Crime of the Century" album/CD today. #689 the Top 1000 recordings you must listen to before you die. I didn't get to vote, If I had it would have been higher.

Rest in peace, Dio. Us rock nerds and metal heads miss you.
Impending Doom: There Will Be Violence
For metalcore, though, I'm loving Five Months by Parkway Drive.
Saw them in '95 or '96 with PJ Harvey and Live. Really cool show. You know, when your're on you tube you see the funniest stuff in the side bar...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG2EGOB9-lc&feature=related

Where did you sleep last night?
Can't say how many times I let that disc spin. Jeez that takes me back. Time to dig out the old meat puppets / mudhoney albums.
