Listened to a little BLS tonight, Order Of The Black...
What did you think of it Steve? Havent gotten to that one yet, but Im a big fan of BLS' earlier stuff... I think Kings of Damnation is one of the best Greatest Hits-type records of all time.

I need to listen to it few more times to get a good feel for it, that was my first....first listen though none of the songs stood out to me as a great song...
really? i have a hard time continuing to listen to her....
Dude she's an amazing composer....
...whos voice drives me up a wall.
i get why others like her. i see the talent. there are other artists out there like this that i like and others cant stand because of their voice. Billy Corgan of smashing pumpkins is one of them. Im a big fan of the pumpkins but i know tons of people that cant get past his voice.
Back to my childhood is where this song takes me:
A long, long, time ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance, that I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while
But February made me shiver, with every paper I'd deliver
With every paper I'd delive
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if I cried, when I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died...
I love metal just as much as the next guy,but every time I hear this song it reminds me of times passed and things lost.
Country takes me back and reminds me of back home in Texas. Sometimes I'll be driving and listening to some Johnny Cash, and I'll almost feel at home...until I see a herd of camels.
