The last round of progressive triumphs was one helluva disaster to the world as a whole. It's just good to see new blood more closely embody their electorate. Immune to arithmetic, ignorant of history, oblivious to any common sense, wildly illogical, but zealous that "it's more important to be morally right than factually correct". Graduate of a fine university thus qualified to wait tables and tend bar. Who does that sound like? Sounds to me like nearly all the upcoming generation she aptly represents.

Who does Pelosi represent? The dried up old prevaricating peculator. I'm tired of that crowd.

And so is AOC.

I wouldn't mind if she talked back, but what she says is idiotic, has no fiscal responsibility and is meaningless.

She sure showed those old guys, she drove thousands of high paying jobs out of New York to spend a tax referral that did not exist!

Yes they are, and all of them voted for her. Hardly anyone from that district like 20%. She received less than 16K votes in a district of almost 700K people. By not voting a few loud people put her in office. They have no one to blame but themselves. Goes to prove each vote counts

It won't last, but think of the harm "she" is doing to "her" own party. For that be thankful. Add omar and tlaib to the mix and it could be the start of something good.
But, like I said, it won't last. That is the real shame of it.

This might just be a smart play that is aimed at making Pelosi seem conservative... which it is doing quite well right now.

Um, that's not a new mood. It's been that way for awhile. Settled down a little after the Watergate hearings, but cranked back up during the Clinton-Lewinsky years and hasn't abated since.
