I rewatched the video, that is an Olympia machine that is a propane model. The hydraulic fluid was leaking prior to him pulling on the ice, when he went to lower the conditioner it appears as though a spark of the engine ignited more than likely one of the propane lines. This is why the fire was concentrated on the back right side of the machine (those are the tanks) but started underneath. The driver drove to the storage bay where there is a mandatory sprinkler system for the machine itself. My hat is off to him for not getting blown up and doing it right.
