I put in two Drymistat tubes and two Boveda 72 packs today, so I'll see what that does. I'm starting to think that none of this stuff works as advertised. I'm really getting frustrated. Since I'm a newbie, I've got about 15 sticks, all different brands, that I need to keep in good condition until I can smoke them all and decide which are going to be my cigars of choice.

Just use the search function and search.
There might also be a pinned thread in that one too about this subject.
Two rules of thumb if you're going to stick with wood humidors, which I highly recommend. Number one is that the best humidification device for your humidor is a full load of properly humidified cigars. Rule number two is that your cigars are more resilient and less affected by slight changes than your psyche.
Relax. They'll be fine.
One addendum to that that I've figured out in Las Vegas is that your humidor will sit at the humidity level that it chooses. I have a tower that runs in the low 60s. I have a desktop that runs in the high 60s. Doesn't matter what I do, that's where they stay. If your wooden box is staying at 63, just go with it.

Hello I'm Jim from northern Wisconsin I'm 33. I smoked cigars infrequently in the past and got out of it and have recently got back into it and loving it. Looking forward to spending sometime poking around the forums and trying new things. I still haven't figured out a true favorite but that's okay ill get there.

Good Morning from Kuwait!
I’ve been out of the game for quite some time now, seems as though my last post was in 2012 but I find myself on my third deployment now and have a group of guys that enjoy cigars. So, it’s rekindled a long lost relationship with the BOTL/SOTL.
Nonetheless, I’m back at it and am excited to relearn and see how things have changed (or not changed) over the years. I hope this finds everyone well and will try to be involved as much as time permits.

Much appreciated. I remember some wild bombs being lobbed, dog turds being thrown at people, and even a custom humidor as shenanigans. It’ll be interesting to see if anything’s changed.

Newbie checking in! Trent. Glad to be here, tried to get into cigars like 5 years ago but kind of fell out. Just re-seasoned my humidor, got a good bead set up and I'm ready to fill it up. Excited to get back into it, learn, explore, and have fun!

Thanks everybody for the welcome! I've been reading through the forums like crazy the past couple of days. Main takeaways...tupperdors, coolirdors, and bovedas lol. AND if you ask a question that's been answered a thousand times you're at least due for a few sarcastic comments before someone steps in to answer "just in case this is a real question/person)" Loving the info though! Wish I would of came across and got into the community aspect of this a long time ago.
