In person to person communication there are three things that facilitate an interaction.
- Tone of voice
- Facial expressions
- Body language
None of these are met sitting behind a keyboard on a forum especially, if the people conversing are not familiar with each other.

LOL. I'll bet you've also said you're done buying guns or ammo. I hear people say they're done buying fishing stuff, stereo stuff, coffee stuff... we know you can't quit this thread.
My only regret is that it's been three pages with zero or little actual discussion.

RFK Jr was in Tucson last night, nah, I didn't go but did listen to what he had to say on utube this morning. I may switch to independent just to get him on the ballot here, can't have too many choices can you? Has anybody listened to his BS and what do you think?

Very interesting that the special counsel basically says that Biden is unfit to charge criminally. So is our standard for president lower then our standard for criminals? Not sure why the 25th amendment hasn't been executed. Bring on Camel Harris. Would be epic.

I did an experiment. I watched right wing political news, I watched left wing political news, and I watched middle of the road political news. I came to the conclusion that no matter what I watched the results were the same. I got pissed and that allowed me to reinforce my belief that going down any political rabbit hole makes folks crazy.

I was watching a video yesterday by a professor at a Christian college. It was regarding abortion, and quite eye-opening in several respects. The key takeaway for me was you can't call yourself pro-life just because you voted for a Republican president (abortions went down more when a Democrat was in the White House) and its state and local policies, among many other societal issues, that cause diminishing rates of abortion. This led me to think from a wider perspective about how crazy people have become regarding Washington D.C. Now, the swamp of D.C. smells to high heaven, for sure, but most of the zealots on either side of the aisle like to complain and spew, but how many are actually engaged to make their neighborhood better or even know their local politicians? What do I do to make my corner of the world better, that's the question. Ranting and raving about Biden or Trump, or Shumer or Mitch... how is that making my slice of life better? It's not.

Just read Trump's South Carolina stump speech. Got to give the guy credit for being honest about what he thinks.

I saw an article the other day expressing amazement that Nikki Haley was planning to stay in the race until the race is over. I hope she does, if she's still there, I'll probably vote for her.
Understand, I'm not a fan, or even a supporter, but there's no other viable option in sight. I can't vote for an unrepentant megalomaniac, nor can I vote for a placeholder waiting to die and leave the position to God knows who.
If either party will put up a candidate with any kind of horse sense I'll be happy to cast a vote in that direction.
As of right now, I think we're screwed.

Want Biden to be our next President?
Vote Trump in the primary.
TDS will drive people who've never voted to the polls to defeat him.
Disclaimer: I've been known to be mistaken, but that's how I see it going down.

might as well go back to our old way of agreeing with posts, since the buttons are no longer useful as a means of conversing

Watched most of the State of the Union last night. Biden appeared active, motivated, and on cue. Fortunately they'd let the Botox wear off before the speech, so he didn't have that blank look so often associated with dementia.
I thought he made a number of really good points in the first 30 minutes, Sort of faltered a time or two after that, but who wouldn't? The last 30 minutes or so seemed a lot like the same old song and dance. Some promises made that I hope were not just so much balloon juice.
Then I tried to watch the rebuttal, but I get the feeling that someone must have put some "other" kind of mushrooms on her pizza. Gave up quickly as her babbling was putting me to sleep.
Praying for our country.
We seem to be lost in pride and hate, the two go hand in hand.
