Easier way is to do away political parties altogether. I'm in favor of all public offices being awarded by lottery, couldn't be much worse.

I thought the format worked very well, in large part because the moderators were fair, surprisingly fair. Did anybody notice Pres Biden's breathing? Almost winded the whole time. And holy s***, someone should tally up how many times he said "The idea" to start a sentence he wouldn't finish.
