Two dry days in a row to end the wettest May on record, just over 20 inches. That's four inches more than the previous record. All the White River lake are full, any more rain and the Arkansas rice farmers start getting flooded.

The heater? The heater's under the house and turned off. It's down to 101 degrees outside and it is 82 degrees inside in the family room. The fire pit in the foreground is also not in operation right now. I'm charging up my solar generator, the power went out a few blocks from me yesterday.

Could be worse but here in N.W.Pa we don't have a lot of our garden in and it is going down to 39 tonight. Seems like things are looking better starting tomorrow .

Probably right. Just going off the animals . If a storm is coming they seem to drink like crazy. Cold weather , they back off drinking water, and right now they are drinking water at a decent pace. Anyway, not a scientist, just an old redneck hoping for the best.
