I broke an old meer once when it had an unanticipated disassembly. The outside and inside were nicely colored and the interior was still white.

Opened the tin of Corn Cob Pipe that Chris have me and found something I've never come across. I've read this is ribbon and also heard cube cut. This is more granular. Anybody know what this cut is called?

Is that what they call “ready rubbed”?
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I thought ready rubbed was just broken flake. Could be.

cube cut. tobacco is pressed, cut into thick flakes and cross cut to make cubes. C&D makes a cube cut burley.

This is more like granulated sugar.

There is a cut of tobacco that they call granulated.
I had some Exclusiv No. 1 (Royal) described as Original, granulated in English style. The natural mildness of Virginia, toasted burley and Oriental tobaccos is enhanced by granulating. A very fragrant flavour. Mild to the tongue. The best part about it was the tin so I made it into a clock.

They make Cavendish out of burley, sometimes virginia. Seems to me they should be able to make it out of Oriental, as well.

Growing up in Tenn, I view that movie as a documentary.
I just figured Chris was trying to lure Peter into smoking pipes......
