Welcome aboard @Urzu7 . The soapy, chemically, gasoline flavor you got from the Java was no fault of yours. That tends to happen with infused cigars. Bic lighters work just fine if that’s what you choose to use. Most of this hobby boils down to a few basics and the rest is all personal preference.

If you’re using a tupperdore, waiting isn’t going to change anything if it’s empty. How big is the tupperdore and what are you using for humidification?

I have a Govee bluetooth hygrometer which has been reading 75 for about three days now.

Welcome Nick @Urzu7 , the 2 week seasoning time is not necessary when using a tupperdor. The two weeks is typically for a wooden humidor, to allow the wood to reach the correct humidity. Throw your cigars and Boveda in the tupperdor and go!

Edit to add: I should have turned the page before replying. You also don't need the distilled water, it won't do anything except work against the boveda. You might need more than one boveda for 7 liters though.
