I stumbled across these items recently and only know what the sales pitch said about 'em but was curious to try 'em. The glasses are designed to enhance the 'nosing' and tasting of the whiskey and the stones are intended to slightly lower the temp - not to chill your drink - to slightly smooth the edge off of the whiskey.
Can't wait to try 'em at toddy time this evening.

Walked in from work today saw 2 boxes sitting on the table..its pretty sad when you order so much u dont even remember when/what you ordered. It was a 5pk of Carlos Torano Signatures and a Gran Habano sampler. I needed that after such a **** day @ work.0

Tried 'em out last night Rob, and I'm pleased, so far. Of course, a comparison can't be made until I try the glasses without the stones. I plan to do that tonight.
The glasses, brim-full, only hold 7 ounces. Info that came with the stones says to put only one stone in the glass and barely cover it with booze. Well, with 2 stones, the glass holds 6 ounces to the brim. I put 2 stones and 4 ounces of Bourbon in it and it seemed to work quite well. A couple of those before dinner and all was well with the world.
I'll let you know what I learn after tonight's tasting.

Let me know what you think of them. I wonder if they were rolled when mine were or are a new batch. Did you see the new God of Fire coming out?
