Stopped at the local shop to see a good friend and get stick to support the local economy. Snagged a CAO La Traviata for the road but before leaving I had to ask how the Trade Show was in Vegas. He had nothing but good things to say. I think I have it convinced to have me tag along next year as his "quality control" personal. LOL.

Lol, no, but the closed foot, and look of the wrapper are unlike the stuff that I've seen from John for a while... Deductive reasoning.
I can't say for sure what kind of time is on it, but it's a Behique 52 I acquired in June and it was in its down period when I received it, so it wasn't very old nor was it particularly fresh...best guess is 1-2 months old at the time, 2-3 now.
Yesterday, I got my end of a deal with amz1301. In addition to the Grimalkins and Emilios that he had picked up for me, I recieved a Pinar Del Rio Seleccion, a Morro Castle, La Herencia Cubana Dos Capas, C.Com Sun Grown Torpedo, and a My Uzi Weighs a Ton!

Just had one of those old blue labels. Very nice smoke. I only have 1 left
I think the 1st 601 blues I used to smoke back in early 2009 were a bit better than they are now. Still the exact same cigar and blend now so maybe its just me. Still probably my favorite cigar most of the time.
Though I hear lots of cigars are best on their 1st couple of runs. Must be hard to grow and produce the same exact tobacco year after year. Give me a 601 blue any day and Im a happy man.
