God, how that snowman gives me the creeps! My kids sing songs from that movie nonstop. I don't see why everyone likes it so much; it's just another cartoon based on a fairy tale.

    Rant over.

Still no correct answers. You guys are trying to narrow it down by date now. Some of you are getting closer in more ways than just time, too.

There's an ocean in this movie...
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot.  I will smoke anything, though.

An old favorite which I just came across and saved to my DVR.

80's film which was the debut movie for a future Oscar winner for Best Actor. He was 17 at the time.

Fast times at Ridgmont High, lots of young actors in there and I am sure one of them won an oscar at some point

Winnings from Patrick. Thanks man; I love me some Oliva. I've tried the LGC Serie N, but not the R. Torano is always solid. I look forward to smoking the others, too. Thanks.

Seriously, I won???? So, who is the actor you’re in reference to? Sean Penn? If you ask me Pheobie Cates earned every penny she got for this film!

Did not expect to win, give me a min to think of my movie and clue……

Going to be a little vague for now. But every so often I’ll give a new clue probably a couple times a day if the guesses are coming in. Should not be that hard.

    Clue #1 It’s a sports movie.

Nicolas Cage. Penn won an Oscar too, but Cage was 17

lol to be honest, I guessed that totally ignorant of your pic.

    Clue #2

Was not Brian's Song. Part of this movie did take place in Joliet Illinois. The other part took place about 95 miles from where the movie Brian’s Song could be assumed to have taken place

No, a sports movie was clue number 1 but I see why you guessed that.

Great movie, but it's the wrong end of Indiana for the clue. Pretty sure I've nailed this one. Hoosier boys know their homestate sports movies pretty well. Now, watch someone picks Breaking Away and I don't get it...

That is it! One of my all time favorites.

Have not had the pleasure of trading with you before so send me that addy!

If it hadn't been Rudy, I would have let that one go since I just won so recently. Now I have to pick another movie...

What film did I watch over the weekend with my wife after purchasing it on sale from Target a couple of weeks ago?

Okay, I get that was unfair, so let me offer a better clue. There's lots of cigar smoking in this film.

    Goodfellas?
    Nope.

Okay, back on track with clues in the AM. My wife has told me repeatedly how much she hates this movie, but when we sat down to watch it, she said she's never actually seen it. Reasons for hating it...her ex liked watching it with his creepy friends, she hates an actress who's in it for all of a few minutes but gets top billing, and it's considered a guy film (which is an automatic must suck to her).
