    Okay educate me please. I'm hoping to hit up a Vietnamese place next week and don't want to look like a complete idiot. The side dish of citrus and greens...do you just take that and mix whatever you prefer into the pho? Do you mix the sriracha into the pho? I've only eaten Vietnamese once and I think I had the rice vermicelli w grilled beef (bun thit bo?). Other than the noodles, what is the difference in bun and pho? The broth?

    I don't know what the difference between bun and pho is because I don't know what bun is. You do put the vegetables in your pho. I've seen many people put sriracha in their pho, so you can do that too if you want.

    Bun bo is a diff dish all together. They both use rice noodles but pho uses a lighter beef broth as to where bun bo uses a heavier broth. Bun is also spicier but with pho you're adding your spices.

    There's no wrong or right way to eat Pho.
