After spending all day yesterday in a data center in Sacramento installing and removing networking equipment, I got home and joined the vHerf, mentioning that I'd be going up to Frazier Peak / Mission Peak above Milpitas which has a great view of the bay area. Here's the pile of networking gear I removed.
Here's the view facing East towards East Bay on the way up.
here's a photo of the cinderblock site I'm sitting in now, connecting a link to a fire station in Sunnyvale and configuring the router to provide network access.
Here's a good shot of Silicon Valley / South Bay.
