Hi, my name is Mitchelland I'm 24 and living In southern cali. Just got a new humidor for Christmas so I thought I should learn a thing or two before i break it. I've been smoking cigars for about a year now but I've always gone to a local lounge to purchase and smoke, and if I do take any home I use a small travel humidor. I know very little about cigars and even less about humidors But I'd love to learn.3

Welcome Mitchelland, there is a lot to learn but you found the right place to do it. Browse/Search the threads for setting up your humidor, will save you a lot of time.

Greetings Mitchell. You will find this forum full of more knowledge and experience that it will almost seem over whelming at first. Sit back, read the post and you will pick years of experience through others. As for your new Humidor, my guess is your going to be told to seal it and then season with either distilled water or even easier purchase the Boveda seasoning packs, put them in it, let it sit for a couple weeks and your done. I took my tablet or phone outside, got a cigar and beverage of choice and read while smoking what I thought was the greatest cigar. Found out there are many I had never heard of that are even better Thanks mostly to the good folks on here.Logistics cannot win a war, but its absence or inadequacy can cause defeat. FM100-50
