Alright, I'll jump in...pretty much a complete newbie and wondering about storage. Seasoning the new humidor as I type. I'm wondering (and feeling stupid asking) once the seasoning is done, what is the proper way to put the sticks in. Plastic sleeve on or off (been told both)? Load them all at once? Any help is good help and appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, if you use the search function you will find several threads on humidor seasoning, you have time. Concerning the sleeves, you were told correctly on or off, your preference. When the humidor is ready load it up, a full humidor will function better than an empty one.
Some take them off some leave the cellophane on. I have a 100 x USB microscope and I can see the holes built into the cellophane. One of these days ill post a picture. I have OCD I have to make sure they all have a cellophane. And I'm constitutionally incapable of taking a single cigar out of a full box. I shudder just to imagine it. So it's really a matter of personal choice they stay humid either way.
And thanks to all for the clarification on the sleeves! I will admit it seemed like a "duh" sort of thing, but the breathable plastic certainly makes sense.

Ok. You have me piqued my curiosity. Please post a picture of a cellophane under the microscope!
Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.
Hi, I'm Brandon, 29, from Michigan. Working full time and going to school. Been smoking the occasional cigar for many years but only recently became an enthusiast when I started hanging out at local cigar lounge when looking for a warm place to study on my laptop and smoke during winter, cause my apartment is out of the question.
Really like cigar.com, pleasure buying from them. Seems like a cool forum.
