I've met @Bob_Luken in person and talked with him at length, one of the nicest most giving people I've ever met and definitely doesn't suck. I've been here for five years and even when I joined I heard this place wasn't what it used to be but I've seen some amazing acts of greatness and generosity in years past as well as in the last 12 months. It may not be what is was five years ago when I joined but I think it's a pretty great place already right now and has simply evolved with changing people. It was great when I joined and is still pretty great now. Not sure what anyone thinks is going to change but there is still the same greatness and kindness and generosity that made it so special before. Just my two cents and never understood that fight about what it used to be. Sure people have left but we've had new ones join and stick around too, it's an enivitability of long term social interactions especially when it's a web forum. If you joined for a specific person(s) and they left then I can see how some could feel it had declined but if you joined for what the community as a whole does and how they treat each other I don't think that has changed all that much. Just my two cents on that topic.

Even great when you were the center of "drama"?? I dont know how this place used to be as I am fairly new. However, I will say that it is pretty fantastic right now. I have never met a group of people that live so far apart but share experiences and their lives along with their cigars before.
