You can sort the threads so that the newest updated thread appears at the top, but you can't sort the messages within any one thread. Best you can do to catch up on years of messages in a mega thread is to scroll to the bottom and click on the last page number or a page number near the end to start reading from. In this case, you'd click on the "18". I tried to quote your earlier message but it got caught by the moderation trap, I think it triggers even when you're an old member quoting a newer member, not sure. Hope this helps.
