Re: Gran Habano Vintage 2002
ndhaon91:I haven't smoke the robustos but the churchills are just outstanding. I did have the same burn issues everyone else talks about. But I resolved that by keeping them unhumidified. That's right... they are permanently dry boxing. I check on them ever week and they are still plenty soft to the touch. So if you go with… -
Re: a quick contest
@Skel There are 1,436 markers scattered across most genomes. At each of these markers there might be a genetic variant that evolved in Neanderthals and came back into the human lineage when the two groups interbred. Because most people inherited variants from both parents, you could have 0, 1, or 2 copies of the… -
Re: Good info on Lyme desease.
Being a hunter I deal with ticks all the time. The past 2 years have just been out of control. On a turkey hunt this spring between my friend and I, we pulled off 32 ticks after being out for about 6 hours.1 time I had to go in and have one cut out and then they hit me with this super high dose of antibiotic that made me… -

Re: Is this cigar deal one to purchase for a Newbie?
Not a bad one. Thing I hate about samplers is a lot of the time they have maybe 1 or 2 good sticks in them then throw in not good at all (in my opinion ) cigars to get the quantity up so it appears you getting good a good deal ( and to some you may be, just not me). If there is a Gurkha or Rocky in the sampler I don't buy.… -
Re: Hambuger eaters....its your fault.
This has been a known fact for a while but always under the radar...really IMO it has to do more with corporations like McDonald's that buys foreign land ie. Rainforest areas plows them down to raise cattle ruins the ground and then goes and destroys more and more. That too me is the biggest issue minus all the other… -

Re: Anyone ashamed of whats in their humidor???

Anyway, when you take the band off, no one can tell the difference. +1 Well said. I like having some different tastes around. The "less good" help me… -
Re: Tell Us About Your Favorite Local Cigar Lounge
+ 1 on Anstead's. Very friendly staff and great two story lounge with several flat screen TV's. It's little bit of a hike for me, but when my son was assigned to Fort Bragg, I would meet with him and a few of his Army buddies, have a great cigar and conversation and then go to dinner. They are expanding the liquor…
