Best Of
Sorry fellas, it's just time.
I'm quitting cigars. Bunch of different reasons, mostly having to do with my lack of enjoying them anymore. It's more of a just a habit than anything else. Not really a hobby.
The cost a shitload of money. I don't even want to calculate how much I've spent on cigars over the last 8 and 1/2 years lol. It's not $10,000. It's tens of thousands of dollars easy haha. Easy come easy go.
The money didn't go to waste. I literally have 211 cigars left in my collection. It's not even much of a collection. Half a box of 20th, a couple of monsters, some placencia and some El mago. I actually found a rocky Patel cargo, which was the first box I ever bought. Fuçking 8 and 1/2 years ago bro lol.
Not just the cost though. My old lady doesn't like it. Of course, she might not be sticking around much longer anyways, which is another part of it. If she does stick around, I told her I'd quit. If she doesn't, I could Probably could use the money for things like security deposits on two-bedroom apartments. That's not a done deal but I can see the clouds on the horizon.
Also starting a new job in October, so going to save up some dough so I can do all the things I need to do for that.
Been smoking things that people have given me that I wanted to smoke. In no particular order, thank you for the avowed smokes and the yellow cake, Edward. A little mild for my leather tongue nowadays, but after taking a little break, I got a lot of flavor out of those things. Sherm, I finished off the rest of the tats you sent me. Exquisite. Thank you. Rusty, I finally got around to smoking that lfd powerhouse you sent me. Really good. Thank you brother. I finished all of the Cubans from poker slob Tom. Rest in peace brother. Charles, I smoked A la historia in the last couple of weeks. Your turn! Jeffrey, I had one aladino left. Smoked it four nights ago. Thanks brother. If you're ever in Vegas, I'll still get together with you. Rodger, I smoked an unbanded cigar from you that was a giant rain gauge. Thumbed through your book while I did it. Thanks dude. Chris, had the Dondurma two mornings ago. It went really well with my pot of coffee. Keep wardening! John, I finally smoked one of those Victor sinclairs. You're a true çocksuçker. And a damn good friend. Thank you for the laugh! Patrick, if you're still out there somewhere, know what you're going through man. Except she talked me buying her $100,000 sheepskin before she left haha. Also Except I don't have a room full of cigars. She ain't getting them. If she wants them she can dig them out of the ashtray. I smoked one of those viaje crafts that you hated and I loved. You're still wrong about it. Almost got through the rest of the box of the Winston Churchill late hours. There might be one or two left. Thanks for finding for me it's such a great price. Peter, I finished off the last of my particulares. They weren't as good as the first time I had had them. I don't know if they went past prime or if my sense is dulled from 30,000 cigars on my pallet. Either way, I sure did enjoy it thinking about clogging the toilet at your house a couple of years ago. I also enjoyed your company greatly. Wade, I got to say man. I didn't smoke that fuçking ogre. Couldn't bring myself to do it. If I was going to have a last cigar, I didn't want it to last until next week. I'll pay it forward though brother. Thank you. Glenn, you never sent me anything because you're a cheap ass son of a ****. I'm just kidding brother. You once sent me, a long time ago, a really nice blue label underground. 2 weeks ago it went down. It was lovely with a very loose draw. Thank you Homie. Tyler, whatever cigars you think you owe me, which isn't anything, send them to somebody else. I hear Rusty's running low. Keep trying to hit him straight. Oceanfront backwoods, that doesn't apply to you, çocksuçker. You owe me a fuçking fiver and you have my address. Northside Frankie, I finished the last of the EZs that you sent me. I forgot how much I like those **** things. Far North 64 Dan, you sent me a sanitano Connecticut that was about as long as my , never mind. It was long though. It was beat up. I smoked it a week ago in the middle of 113° day. Despite all of its bumps and bruises, it was true. Thank you friend. I hope wherever you are you're doing okay. Glock 1975 Jeremy, thanks for the old smokes man I really enjoyed them. Especially the black labels because James Brown still knew how to fuçking roll them back then. Wayne, I smoked that big **** la galera that you sent me about a month ago. If there's any cigar that's worth 60 bucks, that is one of the closest. I went through all of those satoris also. Loved every single one of them through the years. I still have your lighter and I'll still get it to you. Hit me up when you or Carol are in town. It's tucked away with the rest of my lighters which are tucked away nice and safely. Tennessee Paul, I finally smoked, after 6 years or more, the man in the hat cigar that you sent me. I wish I would have smoked it before when I was enjoying smoking. Thank you for your friendship and thank you for the copious, copious, copious conversations. Alaska Paul, you guys didn't tell me, but I think it was you behind the Gurkha glasses. My wife still uses those things. Thanks for the laughs, thanks for the smokes, thanks for your friendship. Brian, if you ever have another herf in Visalia, let me know. You have my number. Roman, you've given me some of the best cigars you've ever smoked. I really enjoyed the leaf and libations thing that you started. I'm out for next quarter brother. And the rest of the quarters. Tell Travis I said hey. Calvin, I watched a WNBA game while smoking a La dueña. It didn't deserve to come in last. Gena red dog, I hated your forum name. I always saw it in my mind as genera dog. You and your wife are lovely people though. Charlie heiss, my brother in Padron, I smoked one in your honor last Friday. The last padron Friday. It was a 90th that I got from a nice old man in a cigar shop. Thought of you and that big comfy chair well I smoked it. Ernie, you're one of the nicest people I've ever met. I loved your contest because it was brilliant, raw, and honest. I hated it because a BDL won one time. Bunch of dog pallets on this forum. My favorite memory from that was my Black label color project coming in last during the same contest where I think Pete's 20 minute Tom finished in the top three.

Cigar Band Art - what do you think of these?
A friend of mine in Visalia has been collecting cigar bands at the local lounge for a long time. He said he was going to make something with them. I had no idea it was going to be something this awesome.

What do you all think?
