Fired up a stick from Glock that he got at a rolling event down in the Caribbean. Turns out the cigar was pretty mild, especially compared to the Founders Porter I was sipping. IMAG0107
Founders beer is so freakin good. How was the cigar? Look like you really did run out of "winter" sticks.
Lol, nah, it was a little warmer tonight so I went with something larger. By warmer, I mean above freezing. I hear you on the Founders. Love the stuff. Hitting up the casino on Saturday, so I can actually enjoy a couple cigars around 70 degrees. I should start planning what to smoke right now!

    That's what she...oh, nevermind...

I smoked one of my Valentine's presents from my wife last night...LP#9. It was a robusto that lasted well over an hour. Great smoke; glad it wasn't a larger vitola because I was getting cold.

I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot.  I will smoke anything, though.

I've been smoking a lot of CLEs lately. Five this week. While all are good, the Cuarenta is the one that stands out for me. I got a great deal on a couple 10 packs and they are going fast.

  • Smoked a Gurkha Red Witch this evening. Wasn't really into it til about an inch down. Then it mellowed out and went very very well with Root Beer (most anything does anyways ;) ).

Interesting start with some very early earth and peat and now some sweeter spice or fruit coming through., I don't know if I would have had this on a cold night like tonight if I realized what a pricy stick it was but its all good so far. image

I tried a LFD Cameroon Cabinet today for my birthday smoke when we (Nikki and I) stopped at the local B&M with my brother. Overall, it was a pretty nice stick.

Nikki went with the Airbender Chisel Tip and she really liked it, though there were some burn issues in the second half (big leaf vein or something). First chisel tip and it had awesome drawl on it.

Today was an Opus X **** Power Ranger. This was my first of that line. Not as powerful as I expected, as the name might imply, but surely delivered in providing a memorable smoking experience. This one came to me through Kuzi and his 10,000 posts contest with almost three years on it. Thanks Matt.
