Just going back catching up. What did you think of this Phil? I have been quite impressed with them, love to hear your take!
I'll have to smoke another to recollect, but I know they are pleasant med body. At there price point they are hard to beat. I think I would get a little better tasting without the snow storm next time:)
well this is an oddball gurk as it has very good draw, is burning straight, wrapper has not yet exploded, etc. It has a unique flavor that I cannot place, I got some hints of peppermint, meatiness, and cedar; the body seemed to be up and down during this first 1/2 inch. Some have said this stick is too mild but time will tell, I expect it to be in the med range.
Some musty spice as well, not your average aging girl bad member either!
i love those things man, very hard to find, excellent cigar. Made my top 12 this year, buttery Dominican goodness.
yea it is hard to find, one small tobacco outlet has them here in this longer perfecto vitola, I am enjoying it. If it were a few bucks less I could see stocking up.
Most I have had of these in longsdale have been too tight on draw. I poked this one, which made the flavors even better.
so you poked it huh?????
yep, and if that doesn't work there is little hope after dry boxing. Without a good draw, a cigar can't really shine and I usually get no flavor out of it.

I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot. I will smoke anything, though.
Next up we have a Viaje Holiday Blend 2012. So far pretty good.
It's all daniel's faulty. freezing my butt off and really enjoying my first Lot 23.
