This is Bill. He's a fellow Latrobian, like me. Met him a few weeks ago at my favorite local Cigar Lounge, along with his bro-in-law. Been herfin' for the past few Fridays. Told him about this place and encouraged him to sign up. Stick around and get to know the other inmates, Bill. Awesome bunch of folks here and fantastic place to learn about cigars. Welcome to the madness!

  • Hey all, my name is Ed. I'm Bill's brother-in-law that Doug was talking about. I lean toward a more mild and mellow smoke with a smaller to medium ring gauge, and am very new to the cigar world. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Avo is a great smoke for a mild/ med experience. I would also say c.com purple, good budget smoke that is pretty good imo.

Hi, I'm Rob. Been smoking for a few years now, I'm from Michigan and I love Ave Marias. I will admit a lot of cigar "lingo" and or terms go over my head, so I thought I'd join the forum so I don't sound like and idiot talking with other people about them.

Hi, I'm Matt from central Washington State. I'm just getting back into enjoying cigars again after a long hiatus; got married, raised a family and had little disposable income. A recent trip to the Dominican Republic reignited my interest in cigars and I'm happy to be back. This evening I smoked an Ave Maria robusto and loved it. It seemed to pair quite nicely with my evening bourbon and Coke.

Thanks! I knew there had to be some fellow Top Gear fans out there. Is that your BMW in your avatar pic? 1 or 3 series? It's a bit blurry on my computer so I can't really tell
