Got in my order of Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake and Cannon Plug today along with some pipe cleaners. I cut a flake off the Cannon plug and used only part of that to try it out ROTT in my Chacom Club 168 pipe. This is a saucy Lakeland, but I like it.

Leftover Cannon Plug I cut and rubbed out the other day with the tips I cut off the last several cigars I smoked in my Chacom Cllub 168 pipe. Only about three quarters of a bowl total, but I think the combination works, the Cannon Plug still comes through loud and clear but the cigar leaf seems to give it some body and balance.

This one just came together nicely. Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake (the short ones from the tins I bought last year) in my BST Billiard. I took out two flakes, went to dry them in the microwave which was moist and dirty from my Son melting butter in there so after I cleaned that out I hit the flakes with seven seconds of 2.45 GHz electro-magnetic energy to dry them out and then cut the flakes in thirds and rolled and stuffed them in the pipe. It was a perfect fit, just slipped into the bowl and wasn't so tight that once lit it choked the draw. It's smoking good, great, strong flavor, really a treat.

I got called away from my pipe, and the vHerf last night by the dinner bell and didn't get a chance to come back to it until now.
I thought my son was making lasagne for Christmas Eve, but he wised up and realized that Friday was his night to cook and decided to move it up one night so he wouldn't be on the hook to cook two nights in a row. This lasagne was days in the making and it was good, very good.
So I managed to stop short of a food coma last night, but just shy so I ended up going up to bed leaving my pipe and all it's accoutrements outside on the patio with some of the Plum Pudding left in the bowl, the remains of yesterday of which I'm smoking now before the heavy lifting starts of getting ready for company Christmas day.

Get my Cannon soon, what do you think of it, Steve?
She's a mule kick of Lakeland for sure. Not as harsh as Grousemoor, but in the same barn.
ETA: I'd be happy to send a sample, so you don't have to open yours.
