Mmm, Meaty! Kickass strong too!
Finishing the DFU left in the bowl from the other day. Even though it's "Unscented" it still has plenty of Lakeland flavor to it. I put the pipe down to enjoy a cigar on vHerf.

There were only a few puffs left of the DFU so I had lunch and came back to fold and stuff five coins of Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake into my BST billiard.

Yesterday I got a little homemade plug from another forum and I decided to make a plug cutting jig out of an old cigar box to help square up my cuts. Seems to work well. Smoked this plug in a ~1934 WDC (William Demuth Company) Bing Billiard. Here's the details on the plug. You can smell the vinegar pre-light, but it tastes good. It rubbed out to basically a ribbon cut.
It's mostly red and lemon virginia, with a couple of layers of maryland and perique (probably 5-10% maryland and 15% or so perique).
The casing followed other recipes here. It's roughly 75g of distilled water, 50g sugar, 25g rum, 25g vinegar (more than recommended, because why not?), and 1 tsp of gum arabic.

I cut a few flakes off of Peterson 3P (Peterson Perfect Plug) in the jig and then turned the flakes sideways and cube cut them and loaded into this Peterson rusticated XL-315 system pipe with a p-lip stem from @Stubble. I promptly lost most of the tobacco from the bowl when the bowl fell off the stem after loading it. Luckily I had prepped extra tobacco so I'm smoking that. TYVM Steve for the fine pipe.

Nice pipe and great tobacco, Rusty.
The flavor of the Match Walnut seems to have faded compared to my previous smokes with this blend.
