Samuel Gawith Cannon Plug in my Norm Triptow pipe. I had to fight with it to keep it lit at first because it needed more drying or rubbing out.
I cub cut a flake I'd cut off the plug earlier in my new jig and set it outside in the sun to dry while I prepared to roast coffee this morning. I ended up cleaning the vent ducts with my extendable drill powered duct cleaning brush since the buildup of chaff was getting pretty noticeable. I then started pre-heating the roaster while weighing out the Sumatra Super Queen Ketiara of the Gayu variety coffee. I noticed several been defects so I took a few minutes to cull the bad coffee that was either black, broken, or had too much insect damage. I roasted this up and then roasted up a nice Ecuador Finca Terrazas del Pisque of the Bourbon variety which I'm excited about because the green coffee smelled so sweet before roasting.
