Cornell & Diehl CRF+P (Small Batch 2021 Carolina Red Flake with Perique) in my small, but mighty, half-saddle, quarter-flake Norm Triptow pipe while roasting coffee. First time trying this tobacco.

Another go at the Cornell and Diehl 2021 Carolina Red Flake + Perique in my Briar Works Bullmose. Smoked it moister this time and rubbed the loose flakes out a bit instead of cutting, rolling, and stuffing and while it's harder to keep lit I am getting more flavor and a hint of the Perique spice this time.

A different pipe, a different prep and this CRF+P is starting to sing. Just goes to show that you can't judge a blend on your first try. It could also be opening up since it's been a few days since opening the tin.

@Yakster - thoughts on it?
Need to give it some more time, but the flavors on first smoke were subtle and in the background.
Some SPC Mississippi River Reserve Flake - forgot how much I like this blend.
