@IndustMech, I should be on the vHerf later tonight smoking a cigar if you want a distraction from what you must be going through. My deepest sympathies, John.

Got a call from my uncle this evening about my grandma. She went back into the hospital today because her legs are retaining water. They ran some more tests this evening and found that one of her aneurysms has grown considerably in the last few months. She is now being moved to a hospital in Allentown that's better equipped to deal with the issue.
On the bright side, the dye tests have shown there's no internal bleeding, but she's 87 and I've come to realize as we must that loved ones don't live forever. Hoping for a little while longer although I'll never be ready to see her go. We've been very close from the beginning. I'd appreciate it if you guys would include her in your daily prayers.

Thanks for all the prayers, fellas. She's stable now and sounding better - thank goodness. They found several blood clots which they're working through. Some damage to the heart has occurred because of them. The aneurysm has indeed grown, but the doctors say there's no immediate threat of it rupturing. Hopefully she is able to get out of there soon; I feel like your prayers have helped a lot. Going up to see her Saturday and I'll let her know that all of you send your love.

Just to let everyone know, my sweetheart child bride took a fall a couple days ago and busted a few ribs. That, and her other health issues caused the doctor to put her in ICU for a while at our local hospital.
I’ve been visiting her each day and today she’s looking a bit better than previously. The doc says he’ll probably keep her there for another couple days, at least.
Any prayers anyone might be inclined to offer up will certainly help speed her recovery and will be greatly appreciated.

Prayers going out for Barbara's speedy recovery, Marty. Keep us updated.

Many thanks for the prayers and good wishes. They are appreciated.
Barb wasn’t quite as alert today as yesterday. The nurse said she didn’t get much sleep last night and they were trying to keep her from sleeping through today so she’d sleep tonight and not get her days and nights mixed up. I wasn’t even aware that could be an issue.
Other than that, things are pretty much status quo for now. I’ll try to keep you posted on her progress.
I spoke to my friend Bobby last night. He's all tore up over Penny but he is going to rebuild the house that was lost in the fire. I think it is good for him to take on this project as it gives him a goal. I told him he was welcome to stay with us for a few days if he needs a change of pace. Most of the support that he is getting is from veterans who happen to be Marines. Semper Fi
Sunday my dad had a heart attack. 84 years old triple bypass surgery last night. Now we wait to see how well he does. Sounds like he is doing well, but at his age, anything can go wrong. He's in Billings, so us going to see him isn't going to happen. My little brothers and niece are keeping me updated.

It'll be fine once the swelling goes down.
