What's for dinner lunch
My usual, a Peanut butter sandwich but with some of @NorCalR1 's homemade strawberry jam. Thanks, Dave, awesome!
It makes a delicious sandwich for sure. Glad you enjoyed it Edward.
If you want to bomb me send it to Tony @0patience
If you are a newbie I got Dem nachos....
Spaghetti tonight. Four cheese pasta sauce with garlic and basil. Added italian hot sausage, cajun style andouilli sausage, chourico and ground linguica.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
Since we're turning this into a what's for lunch thread, I made some homemade split pea soup and added some jalapenos and hatch green chilies for a little kick.
Looks like it'll be done in about 20 minutes!

Shrimp and Grits tonight with Sweet Potato Fries. The Grits are the real grits and take a half hour to cook. You non southern folks may call grits Polenta.

Polenta is Italian. For non-southern folks I think you’d be referring to corn meal.... but, hey, what do I know... ? 🤓
Short Ribs of Beef ready for a 2 hour braise in a low oven.. The ribs were bought at a small sustainable farm where we get most of our beef, eggs, vegies etc. When we brought the ribs to the table we couldn't stop eating them.
Made rigatoni with the chicken breasts from a chicken I spatchcocked this weekend with the last of the home grown broccolini and the last of the sun dried tomatoes in a wine reduction sauce. Twas good.

They brought me home a large order of McDonalds fries and a vanilla shake. The Youngest is playing the new Monster Hunter Rise game on the Switch while the Wife is grading, who knows what'll pass for dinner tonight.
