The Wife and I went to a country French restaurant La Foret last night that specializes in game meet for our 26th anniversary. It's out in old Almaden on the outskirts of San Jose near a creek and so deep back in there that it didn't have phone service, which was probably a good thing because we spent the time enjoying the food and each other's company. We added an order of grilled prawns which were much tastier than the sautéed version.

Most people who like to eat beef like to taste beef. Not all that other slop. Salt, pepper, and a dash of garlic powder.
