    So where is the herf taking place at? and what hotels are near by? I see that many stayed at some country side Best Western for the last one. If someone needs a roomie PM me. I doubt my drunk buddy tags along since he seems to like the sauce more than adventures.

    BTW I dress up rather nicely but I don't shave my legs.

    It's held at casa de montecristo on Saturday night. 8 to 8 cigars during the day on Saturday. If you come Friday we will be at casa then too

    i'm going so that i can get some deep dish pizza from giordano's......
    but i guess if you guys will be herfin' i might stop by and say "hey".

    I had it last year and while it was good it wasn't anything spectacular. I prefer a regular hand tossed I guess

    Try Pizzeria Uno. They ARE the Deep Dish Pizza Kings in Chicago. Stay away from sausage on the pizza because its layered like cheese. If you like garlic then I recommend you get that plus whatever else you like. My favorite is mushroom, tomato, garlic and pepperoni.

    Get an Italian beef combo sandwich with giardinera at Portillos. You'll thank me later. 

    I think I can swing it this year. Wish it was closer to home though.  :p

    Pizzeria uno is on my banned list after a manager went to a table of my buddies who were eating lunch in uniform and told them they were scareing customers. That was like 8 years ago. Haven't been since

    ^ Lou's thin butter crust is some of the best thin crust around as well. It's not all about deep dish in Chi town.

    Much like Ceegars, pizza around here is subjective.  Rodney is right in that its not all about deep dish here, though that seems to be the perception outside of chi-town. The best places for pizza here is probably like NY, the small individual places, over the well known chains (Giordanos, Genos, Lous, etc).  You can google the 10 best pizzas in Chicago and find hundreds of articles each with 10 different places on them.  Like ceegars, the fun is trying them all.  :)  It's always a battle within my own household when it comes to where we are getting pizza from.  LOL

    Chi is just a great food town all around. Authentic Mexican is some of the best in the U.S. I am getting hungry now

    Yup, think a run to Portillos is in order for lunch today!  Italian Beef Combo with Giardinera.  There is no substitute.  And Porty's isn't really considered for the best beefs around, but they be really damn good!   :D
