Managed to get to work this morning. The last 1/2 mile was exciting…35 knot wind, heavy snow, blowing snow, visibilty was less than 50 feet. Was the closest I’ve come to ditch surfing since I got here 26 years ago.
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...
Sort of back to normal. -15 with 15 knots of wind to spice it up a bit. Roads are cleared down to rutted bare ice with very small patches of clear areas. Makes things rough.

Temp was dropping hard this afternoon, 38 to 29 in just over an hour currently 21 headed to 15. Rain/drizzle since last night, turning to light snow with a glaze of ice. Back to above freezing Tuesday.

We got 2-3", short of the 8-12" they were trying to scare us with a few days ago. It's a beautiful, dry, sparkly snow, like 1/4" diamonds (or big chunks of glitter, if you're seeing it through the eyes of Patrick). The flakes are flat and the reflections off the streetlights on the snow can be seen from way down the street. It's awesome.
I took a pic w/ my phone from my upstairs cigar room, looking down onto my garage/carport. Hopefully, they'll covey a little bit of the beauty.
I’ve got the same thing here. Was 70s yesterday and supposed to get colder all through the day today. Had a ton of rain and still a lot of moisture in the air. Might be time for a big dumping of snow.
Well, I was going to post a picture, but just look at Rusty's photo, that's it.

Yep, we are supposed to get 5-6 inches tonight. In years past we would be getting feet of snow. Anything that soaks into the ground slow is welcome.
