Lol, no, trying to better store the overflow living in boveda-ed ziplocks and half empty boxes. Oh, and don't you dare!

So, I cancelled my AT&T U-Verse TV subscription, keeping the dual bonded DSL 50 Mbps Internet. After that the Internet dropped speed running on only one DSL line and I started experiencing outages. I talked to their useless level 1 and level 2 tech support and scheduled a field dispatch even though I know that they messed up the port configuration on me taking down one of my DSL lines.

I've always had trouble with AT&T Internet, I'm too far from the central office to get reliable DSL service and fiber hasn't made it to my area yet. I finally gave up and ordered Xfinity cable based internet and I postponed the field repair. The day the field repair was originally scheduled for, my Internet went down again several times and then came up on both bonded DSL connections returning to the 50 Mbps Internet I was paying for. They probably had a tech at the CO scheduled to work with the field engineer that finally looked at the configuration and figured out what they gorked and fixed it.

Today I picked up the cable gateway and plugged it into an old cable TV port. We haven't had Comcast cable in decades, the gateway didn't come up. I'll probably have to crawl under the house and trace the cables, there's two because they used to deliver an A and a B cable feed back in the analog days. It's either that or pay $100 for an install or talk a descendant into crawling under the house and playing with the black widow spiders and rodents down there.

Maybe I should order an air filter for my furnace and replace that at the same time.

I am painting my kids' bedrooms before moving their stuff in tomorrow. Pulling an all-nighter with the help of beer to steady my hand. It's going well so far.

I ran the snowblower a week and a half ago, and got too deep into some gravel in the driveway. I think there is a stone stuck between the impeller and the frame. I need to take it apart today to find the source of the vibration.

  • TRayBTRayB Posts: 1,981 ✭✭✭✭✭

So, I watched a few videos, took the snowblower apart, and found the impeller was bent and rubbing against the head of a bolt. I straightened it sufficiently, but a weld was broken at a gusset, so the job isn't done. I need to find a local welder.

Also, filed my local, state, and federal tax return today.

In general, Pennsylvania municipalities collect a 1% income tax. Some cities collect more.
