I'm so very sorry, dogs are family.

Today I went to a B&M I've never tried before. Asked the lady for a rec (gave her some ideas on flavor notes) and said I didn't want anything predictable like a Liga Privada. I wanted something unusual from a smaller company, and wanted to stay under $10. Her response "We have some Opus Xes and Anejos." 🙄

I've asked the guy at the usual place I go to for recs like that and he loved the challenge of trying to think up something unpredictable for me to try.

Please staff your B&Ms with people who are enthusiastic about cigars. Love, Bad Sneakers

This is a single hair growing on the bottom of my left foot. I get them every so often, just one little hair. It hurts like a splinter of wood that's how I know that it's there. I'm glad it only happens every couple of years. Time to pluck it out!

    Sorry, TMI...

Well, for my every day cigar (3 to 5 times) I prefer 5 Vegas Gold. They are dependable and consistent. And I really don't give a flying F what anybody else thinks. Aged and rested if possible, though I won't hesitate to smoke one ROTT.
But I do smoke others brands, because I do like cigars.
I do think there are a lot of overrated "good" cigars.

That is true.  The more expensive, the more overrated at times.    I have never smoked a cigar that I believe should command over $15.  Not that I've smoked a lot of expensive cigars, mind you.  I've smoked two of the three opus blends I have and find they are decent cigars but not something that commands a higher price tag than a standard Fuente.  Maybe I'm just not easily impressed.  I don't know.

Drinking coffee and working on reports. So many reports since the holiday break.

Some jokers decided to merge some databases which resulted in changing the account names in our ticketing system which is playing havoc with the reports.

    At least the coffee's good.

Fritos have changed recently, less oily, less salty, less roasted corn flavor, or maybe it is because I got the "Scoops" variety instead of the classic. Mildly disappointed.
  • YaksterYakster Posts: 27,585 ✭✭✭✭✭
I had the classic and didn't notice any recent changes. I eyeballed the "Scoops" for a while but decided it was unnecessary for my purposes. I would  have picked up the Chili Cheese had I found it.

Just finished a monthly winter ritual... filing heel calluses... they get so rough it damages my sheets.  Now, they're all smooth and girly.

@IndustMech was right about the caffeine extraction.
