Just received an email from them that they have shipped out to stores and was released 2 weeks ago. Most everywhere I have checked that lists them has them backordered.

Tony, I’ve seen people smoking them on Instagram but haven’t seen them for sale and available.

I emailed andyd to see if they will be getting them in. One of the sites lists them for $5.25 ea for robustos and $99/box. So that seems reasonable.

So I smoked one today. The wife commented that it smelled a lot like the 1916. No question, as @silvermouse stated, it needs some rest. It got a little sharp toward the end. Had the same problem with the cap and it did try to unravel a little, but I was able to keep it in check. I liked it. A lot. I would have probably liked it a lot more, if it hadn't been box pressed, but that's just me. All in all, I will be getting more.

So, after having a couple of these, I have to say that, if I could fill my humi tower with half Torano 1916 and half New World Cameroon, I would be very happy. And anyone who knows me, knows my fondness for the Torano 1916, but I have to say, this one rivals the 1916 easily. If it weren't box press, it would surpass the 1916 for me. I'll get used to the box press though. Cedar, caramel and cinnamon sweetness. Towards the end, the pepper kicks in quite a bit, but not so overpowering, that it's a problem and the caramel cedar balances it out. And the price, mostly seeing about $5.50 average for a robusto.
For me, this one hits everything for a cameroon fan. A couple weeks rest made quite a difference in the last third of the cigar. I'll be ordering a box of these soon.

Give them a go if you don't like them send out the remainder, if you like them, sorry, not sorry. Figured I owed you from long ago and never came through, so enjoy!

Oh, I expect I'll like them. I like almost everything A.J. has done, and love Cameroon. I don't remember anyone owing me anything, but I am thinking I'll have to clear a little space, and I may owe somebody something, ahem.

So I couldn't wait, tried one of the torpedo vitola that @Patrickbrick sent me yesterday, and all I can say is...
Lovely!
If these get better with rest, wow!

The sticks @Patrickbrick sent me were gone long ago, but I purchased a couple boxes when they became available and have enjoyed many since that time. They remain everything described above.
I just have to add that they tend to kick hard. I have often found that I need to be sure to have something substantial to eat prior to smoking.

According to Cigar aficionados article, they are supposed to be in the $5-$7 range. Sounds awesome.
