Off the cuff, I'd say those verses are speaking to something else, even though I'm open to considering another interpretation.
Also off the cuff, reading your post makes me think people are duped into thinking gaining knowledge is the be-all end-all, and then forgetting it's wisdom that you want. Knowledge is information; wisdom is knowing what to do with that knowledge. There is a satisfaction in thinking I know something, but it's empty and meaningless if it can't be translated into wisdom for living.
A study by Michael Gerlich at SBS Swiss Business School has found that increased reliance on artificial intelligence (AI) tools is linked to diminished critical thinking abilities. It points to cognitive offloading as a primary driver of the decline.

Late night thoughts…
We live in a world now where a vast number of people feel the need, desire, and maybe even the compulsion to know everything. People want to see and know what everyone else is doing. People mirror the “evil” companies that do the same thing by gathering their information from devices. Knowledge seems to be the world’s worst addiction. But is it actually knowledge? In my opinion, absolutely not. But people feel it is. The endless search for what some consider knowledge has consumed large throngs of our society. I just wonder how many lives this search has destroyed. The search for false knowledge in what we know as the internet. This symbolism struck me hard for some reason last night.
Genesis 2:16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Are you referring to knowledge being or searching for answers to life’s meaning or knowledge being false gods?

There is a program on TV called The Rookie. I've never watched it and I don't really know what it's about, but I just saw a headline that it is in its 7th season. I wonder if they shouldn't change the name.
For the last few generations we have injected our youngsters with the MMR vaccine. The result has been that measles, mumps, and rubella have been nearly unknown amongst the most recent generation of parents, because the vaccines worked. Wonderfully.
Since the parents never experienced these diseases, because they'd been vaccinated, they seem to believe that the diseases themselves either didn't exist, or no longer exist. Due to this ignorance, coupled with and magnified by anti-vax hysteria propagated by self serving sources they decided that their children shouldn't have to experience the unbearable horrors of "getting a shot".
So, now we have measles outbreaks in school aged children.
I suppose I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Just my opinion.

I am just curious where this outbreak from. Possibly brought in by someone that was not checked medically at a proper border crossing? Or was someone traveling and brought it back? The main thing is why aren’t they telling us.
Used to be called common childhood diseases, I had all three, measles, chicken pox, mumps. Measles gave me a heart murmur as a parting gift. First vax was for polio back in the mid 50's. We all lined up in school for that one. So far the measles outbreak, last I checked, numbered 50 with one death, not great odds, given death is a rather severe symptom.
Just because we're not catching them doesn't mean they went away. That's why it's stupid to pretend that the smallpox vaccine isn't needed. "they" want us to believe that the disease has been eliminated. Meanwhile, in laboratories belonging to various entities around the world, smallpox is alive and well. How long before some disgruntled politician releases it upon an unsuspecting rival?
Oh, no one would ever do that, would they?

I think I got smallpox vaccine a couple of times in the service.
When I went through Basic, some of us who were older, like me, had the vaccine as a kid. It had been 20 years for me, and I barely reacted to it at all, meaning that I still had good immunity. The younger guys were sporting scabs between the size of a quarter and a half dollar. Proof, to me, that my original one was still working. Then they vaxxed us a couple more times, probably to make some politician happy.

I’ve always interpreted them loosely as ignorance is bliss in one form or another.
I'd like to know what y'all smoking, and the wisdom of where to get it.

Just another case of people changing the meaning of words and society going along with it. This time it was the “foodie” crowd.

Mr. Kennedy's kids are up to date on their vaccines. I don't know if they are all autistic though.

Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
Remember when they used to make vaccines that worked for life? Must not have been as much money in it that way.
