If not, I guess it's time to empty the ashtrays and fill the lighters!

Now that i'm "fancy", I decided to move the cigars from the two desktops and three ammo cans into the 500ct end table humidor.
The bottom:
Had to cram more in there:
Bottom tray:
Top tray:
And the drawer:
I have another twenty cigars coming in on Monday and I'm not sure they'll fit.Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.

Friendly insight brother, you have mold on the cigars at the back of the drawers.Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.4

@Guitarded thanks for catching that- didn’t see it when I snapped the pics! I’ll be checking to make sure it’s not on the foot when I get home tonight. What do you think could help prevent that- more airflow? Humidity it ~65% (boveda) so I wouldn’t think they’d be too damp0
-
I like and use 65% boveda, maybe the temperature too high for a while?
I have seen much worse, but I would segregate those smokes from the others for a while. Might as well pull everything out and give the unit a good cleaning, especially anything wood.Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.4 -
😁 That’s just plume bro
but seriously CCs seem more prone to mold (in my experience). Maybe some airflow could help.1 -
Always leave cello on. I have found that this is the best way to prevent mold."I drink a great deal. I sleep a little, and I smoke cigar after cigar. That is why I am in two-hundred-percent form."

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll wipe them off, put them in a tupperware for a bit, and watch them. Any tips for getting airflow in a fridge setup?0

The typical smart@ss answer around here would be to smoke more so you have to open it more often!
Xicar HumiFan 831XI can be had for about 25.00 and has good reviews.
Some tech savvy people have used computer fans, but that is above my pay grade.

I learned the hard way to not scrimp on labels. Every single one fell off in the tuppers. I know who sent sticks but not which onesLogistics cannot win a war, but its absence or inadequacy can cause defeat. FM100-53

Now, I know someone sent it, but no idea who.
Every once in awhile, I have a moment of clarity and remember who it was.

Hey all! Just signed up today and went through, some crazy set ups making me very jealous ! I’m just getting into this new hobby, loving it so far. I’m hoping to learn on some good cigars that I can start adding to my collections that are “off the grid” so to say. I’m familiar with the CAO’s, Rocky patels, etc but hoping to pick up some good, medium-full bodied cigars that I may not be aware of. Looking forward to speak with all of you soon! See below for a few pictures of my new set up (hopefully this forum is still used haha)11

Welcome Kendu44. Nice collection, though I would put the infused cigars in a separate tupperware container lest ye infuse the other smokes.5
-
Thanks silvermouse! I’ve heard that before, need to guy out and buy a few and keep them separate. Thanks for the insight1

New member here. Decided to start to get a bit more serious. Here's my new humidor! Seasoned for 14 days with 84% Boveda packs. Just loaded it up yesterday. I replaced a 120 desktop model with this. Love the looks, hoping it holds humidity well. I added a 320g boveda hanging inside upside down off the roof and have 5 packs on the floor under the bottom shelf. I also ordered 2 more hygrometers (one for each shelf) just to be safe14

Looks like this is the new newbie welcoming thread?? Welcome @DPIStorm. Hopefully you know already whether or not that thing is holding humidity. It should have stabilized during the seasoning process. If it doesn't hold humidity, the seals around the glass are likely the culprit. Easy enough to fix.@ScotchnSmoke sux lots of large wéiners.
