They are calling for a ice strom here Sat night into Sun morning.....I hate ice...Doesn't matter if it's 1/4" or 3" it's a pain.

10 this morning, getting up to 14. Supposed to get above freezing next Friday. Have flocks of cardinals digging China berries from under the trees in the yard. This is one of the longest cold spells we've had here in a while.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

My spouse told me (incorrectly) the forecast was single digit temps this weekend, now I hear the forecast is 6 -8 inches of snow.

Snow has already covered the windshield of the truck, one cup of coffee and just started my cigar. Current temp is 0 and headed down.

Up here on the NE coast mostly rain with a bit of snow mixed in all week, 38° now, temps in the 30's with a high of 48° on Friday, lows in the 30's most nights.

We got hammered!!! Freezing rain even at 18F last night, mixed with sleet and snow. High today 19-20F. Tonight's low should be 7-8F, beyond the coldest I or anyone I know has ever experienced here. Power was out for 12 hours today, not fun!!!

It was 7 degrees this morning. 62 right now, and in 2 hours its calling for snow. Gotta love the high desert.

We actually got into the low 30's and on my way home from work I saw a family out for a bicycle ride. Not even kidding.
