I get to work to find 6-8" of heavy, wet, partially frozen snow. I have over 300' of sidewalk to shovel at work.

After having spent about 4 hours trying to find a plow company willing to take on a new customer... I'm not saying I would do it, but I get it.

I finally found someone. Instead of paying once, I had to talk him into taking advanced payment for the next 5 snowfalls. I tried to make it seem like a favor, but really I just wanted the assurance that it would get done.

Luckily heavy winter snows in this area ended about 40 years ago. Haven't had over a foot in the in the 30 years since I retired back here. However all next weeks highs are forecasted at 20 something.

Same here, I looked at the National forecast for next week and the Midwest, north and south is getting hit with the popular vortex air.

35 years ago 2 or 3 feet of snow and 0 degrees were common here. We are getting the same moisture now in the form of rain and ice and it's getting warmer fellows.

Looks to be close to 70 today in the Bay Area. Sure doesn’t feel like winter. To be honest I would rather be getting some more much needed rain.

Had the spring crocus pop up in the yard this week, they will be snow covered later today. Usually don't show till March.

It's been interesting, to say the least. Buttercups and irises are trying to come up. Listening to the forecast on the local news channels for the last few days they've got it narrowed down to somewhere between 5 and 47 degrees, and are pretty sure that it might rain, or snow, or not. So, looking out the window at any given time seems to be the best bet.

If it really gets to single digits here, everything's finished plant wise outside. The forecast is changing daily, snow looks highly possible, unbelievable!
