Like them both, the HCA with the long stem would be useful when needing to emphasize a point or when giving directions to a lost tourist.

Happy Sunday, all. Each Sunday I start my pipe smoking day by looking at my rack of Norm Triptow pipes and decide which one to smoke. I start by picking a tobacco, if it's compressed tobacco--a flake or a plug--I'll go for one of the smaller pipes but if it's ribbon or shag cut I'll go for the "Lava Lamp" cob in the center. Today I decided that I'd sat on the C&D Eight State Burley tin I picked up in 2021 long enough and went for the cob. My first impression is that it's pretty good.
