You might recall how in June I placed an order for 10 of the My Father robustos at Hiland's, and how they sent me the MF Connecticuts by mistake... I called them on 6/15 to let them know they screwed up, and they said they'd get to right cigars out and don't worry about returning the CT's.
As of yesterday, I still hadn't heard or seen anything of the MF robustos, so I called them again. The same guy answered the phone again this time and gave me the same spiel, promising to "send them out today" (yesterday).
Well, today UPS dropped a box from Hiland's on my porch. They sent 11 MF robustos, a sampler of all the My Father vitolas, and a belicoso sampler. I guess the guy felt bad for letting it fall through the cracks, sending it Next Day and tossing in the extras.
Not bad, for an initial outlay of $76.

@ShawnOL 40. Took 7 or 8 days from Germany, order to delivery. Viaje doesn’t sell these in the U.S. for whatever reason?? Got a couple from @Bigshizza , almost a year ago, and loved them.
A good cigar and the open road solve most problems.

I've been enjoying the Timeless Panamerica by Fiero Tego ever since Jeremy @11thGenSoutherner recommended them, but not at the regular price ($71 per 5-pk vs. $70 for four 5-ers). And the Cain F lanceros? I've never had one but have heard for ages that they're a good smoke, so again, a great price persuaded me to go slummin' with Oliva.

Special credit goes to my my orange marker, my first aid kit, and my 7 lb mutt terrier.
